up an email address
After you have entered your name into the box on the email page a screen will come up for you to enter a few more details, like selecting you address. Once you have done that you have activated you email account with TK For Kids. For more information on using the email system see bellow. Using
the email system
After you have signed
in or signed up you are ready to start sending and receiving emails! The
first screen you will see tells you how many unread emails you have got in
your inbox, If you have any important events today on you personal
calendar and a button for you to take notes. You will need to log in every
time you want to check your emails.

Search
Engine
To use our search engine, you must type in a word or phrase into the text box and click find, this search engine is powered by Google. If you want to find something on our site, use the keyword search the right hand part of the screen. The site search only uses key words. This means if you search for "games" you will be taken to the games page, where as if you enter "games + fun" the search feature will not work.

Emailing
TK For Kids
To email us, all you have to do is click on the contact button at the bottom of the screen. We also offer a guestbook that you can sign by clicking 'Guestbook' all our pages. Games
TK For Kids have there own games. There are different types of games so they will be played differently. For some of the games they work better in Internet Explorer. Some of the games also require Java or flash to load and may take a few moments.

Chat Room Our chat room allows students to talk to other students around the world about different aspects of life. This is an educational tool. Clear instructions are set out on this page, or you can visit our online safety page. The chat room text is logged and stored. The chat room also has filters for bad language.
To uses our chat room, choose a username and click connect. This will Java which may take a while. When loaded you will be welcomed to the chat room. Look down the left hand side to see the other users on the chat room. TK For Kids moderators will uses the log in names of "TK For Kids" or "tkforkids".

Forum / Notice board In the forum,
students can post questions about their school work and get help from
other readers. The forum also allows kids to talk about games, movies and
other things that they like or don't like.
To use this
forum, click on a forum title, followed by a person's post. When the
post loads you will have the option to reply by clicking "Post New
Reply". This will enable you to send your own feedback or help the
person.

newsletters to subscribers every month. To get our newsletters you must
first have an email address. Then by visiting our Newsletter page you can

TK For Kids is a bully free zone. this
means zero tolerance towards bullies. We try to provide a safe
environment for kids to learn and have fun with out being harassed in
any way. Any bullies will be IP blocked from areas on TK For Kids.
